Statewide Security is the premier provider of Homeland Security consulting and design in the Pacific NW. Our client list includes government agencies, Fortune 100 companies and hundreds of other commercial and residential clients throughout the region.​
Our technical team offers more than a 100 years of progressive experience in the security and law enforcement industries. Since our founding in 1978, we've performed over 10,000 Risk and Vulnerability Assessments (RVA). We currently consult, design, install, monitor and maintain hundreds of complex intrusion, fire, access control, gate automation and video surveillance systems for governmental, commercial and residential clients. We utilize a robust, thorough and realistic approach to security because we know--from experience--how buildings and grounds are encroached. Our design-build systems utilize current and emerging technologies to deter, detect and verify intruders. Our loyal relationships with equipment vendors--particularly combined with our design-build expertise--enable us to offer economical and effective systems that provide maximum protection and minimal inconvenience. Because we assess risks and vulnerabilities on a daily basis, we know what deterrents are effective and worthwhile.

Over the years, we've completed Risk and Vulnerability Assessments for several Pacific Northwest utilities and municipalities. Additionally, we have implemented advanced security systems for several of them. These clients include:

  • Federal Court House, Tacoma, WA

We also assist public agencies in processing their applications for security equipment through the US Homeland Security Department. To date, our clients have received nearly one million dollars in funding. 
Jim O¹Donnell, President, is a former sheriff's deputy who founded Statewide Security in 1978. ​Having also served as the Commissioner for the Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District, Jim fully understands the financial and political issues surrounding security implementation in public facilities. He has been a presenter at numerous conferences on public water security and has performed thousands of Risk and Vulnerability Assesments for government agencies, commercial businesses and private citizens. 
Our Technical Team is a comprised of licensed residential (02) and low-voltage (06) electricians who perform meticulous installations, upgrades and service work throughout the Pacific NW region. All members of our staff have been subject to rigorous background checks and uphold strict confidentiality policies regarding our work and clientele. We have technicians on-call 24 hours/day to assist clients remotely, efficiently and with thorough familiarity of our complex intrusion, fire, access control and video verification systems. 

In addition to industrial and commercial properties, Statewide Security provides extensive Estate protection.
